Coming from Menemen to a wedding in Aliağa

When people look for a wedding venue in Menemen, most of them don't think of adding Aliağa to the list. Yet from Menemen to us it's about 27 km on the Izmir–Çanakkale road, around 25 minutes depending on traffic. That's roughly the same as going from one end of Menemen to the other.

Our garden is in the centre of Aliağa, in Kültür Mahallesi. Once you're in the town, you don't have to hunt for an address along village roads. There's a car park for those coming by car.

How do guests get here?

For those with a car it's easy. For those without, there's the İZBAN commuter train. You get on at Menemen station and a few stops later you get off at Aliağa, the last stop on the line. From the station it's about 2 km to the garden, a few minutes by taxi.

If you have a lot of elderly relatives, hiring a shuttle bus from Menemen is also a good idea. It brings everyone in one go and drops them back at the same place at night. For evening weddings, check the time of the last İZBAN train too.

The garden

Weddings take place in the open air, under the trees. There's an arched bridal aisle, a dance floor under the lights and a separate bridal suite for the bride and groom. The garden holds up to 1,200 people.

We run two sessions a day, midday and evening, and there's only one event in the garden in each session. The season runs from May to October. If you have a summer weekend in mind, it's worth asking early.
