What to look for when you visit wedding venues
Visiting wedding venues is exciting the first couple of times, then they all start to blur into one. So that you don't get home and say "did we ask about that?", we've written down a few things to keep in mind when you go. Under each one, we've also added how things are at our garden.
How many people does it hold?
Even if your guest numbers aren't final, give a rough figure and ask how many people the venue can comfortably host at most. Our garden holds up to 1,200 people.
Is there a car park?
If most of your guests are coming by car, this matters a lot. We have a car park.
Is there another wedding the same evening?
At some places, more than one wedding is held on the same evening, in the same hall or in divided-off areas. Ask about this from the start. We run two sessions a day and host only one event per session.
What happens if the weather turns?
For an open-air wedding, be sure to ask this. We don't have an indoor area, and weddings are held entirely in the open air. That's why we keep our season between May and October.
How will guests get there?
Driving to the venue once in your own car isn't enough. Look at where most of your guests will be coming from. Our garden is in the centre of Aliağa. It's about 35 minutes from Karşıyaka on the motorway, around 25 minutes from Menemen, and 2 km from the last stop of the İZBAN commuter train.
What will you arrange, and what will the venue?
Every venue works differently. Talk from the start about which jobs the venue takes on and which ones you need to arrange yourself. Sometimes we prepare everything, and sometimes we rent out the garden as a venue only.
See it as it really is
Photos are always taken from the best angle. If you can, see the venue at the same time of day as your wedding, and with the decorations up. Before you come to us, call +90 554 130 01 99 or message us on WhatsApp, and we'll meet you in the garden.
